Knife Care & Sharpening

Leather absorbs moisture from the air, and if a knife or blade is stored in a leather sheath for an extended period in a humid environment, it can lead to rusting. The moisture trapped in the leather can transfer to the blade, promoting oxidation and corrosion. To prevent this, it is important to:

  • Store the knife in a dry place. Avoid high humidity areas.
  • Remove the blade from the sheath if storing long-term. This reduces the risk of moisture buildup.
