We forge the old way: heat, hammer, and patience. Each blade is shaped at the anvil, heat-treated for hardness and edge retention, then ground and finished by hand. This piece starts with D2 Steel. Blade size: 9" to 13.5" across set. Build details: Full Tang construction, a Resin grip. Hardness target 55-58 HRC for a balance of bite and toughness. Kitchen steel has to earn its place on the board every day.

Questions
Knife Care & Sharpening
Leather absorbs moisture from the air, and if a knife or blade is stored in a leather sheath for an extended period in a humid environment, it can lead to rusting. The moisture trapped in the leather can transfer to the blade, promoting oxidation and corrosion. To prevent this, it is important to:
- Store the knife in a dry place. Avoid high humidity areas.
- Remove the blade from the sheath if storing long-term. This reduces the risk of moisture buildup.
